BLHC Teams

BLHC currently run two senior teams (1st & 2nd) and have a thriving juniors section that feeds into our senior squads. All our teams train at Stowe School. Zak Jones took over as Head Coach at BLHC in 2001 and has guided the 1st XI to an impressive 8 league promotions or titles in 10 seasons.

The 1st XI, having enjoyed significant success in recent years and are currently playing their third season in England Hockey's National Conference West league. BLHC were crowned champions of Conference West in 2010-11 but a disappointing playoffs in May sees the return to conference hockey this season.

The 2nd XI, set up just four seasons ago and having been promoted in every season, are competing in Trysports League Division 3 in 2011-12

The BLHC junior section was up in 2004 and is a vibrant and thriving part of the club, offering training and playing opportunities for girls aged from 7 to 18. A number of our juniors have achieved county, regional and international honours.
