U12 Boys - Round 2 (Thame)

The U12 boys travelled to Thame for the second round of their Division 2 fixtures. In incredibly wet conditions, the side began slowly and were beaten 3-0 by a bigger and more powerful Thame side, despite competing really well in the second half. In their next game, they played some impressive hockey, running out 4-0winners against St Albans with goals from Zeb Hodgson, Harriosn Cairs and two from Joe Burgess. Their final match was a game of two halves. Amersham and Chalfont dominated the first half and led 1-0 at the break , but Buckingham fought back and dominated the second. James Deakin got the side back on level terms but despite numerous close efforts, Buckingham couldn't find the winning goal and the game ended 1-1.
