BLHC is a small and very friendly club with lots of ambition.
Our 1st team have enjoyed significant success in recent years, earning promotion or winning a league title in 8 of their last 10 seasons. In 2011 the 1st XI were crowned champions of England Hockey's West Conference league. A disappointing playoffs however sees them return to the National Conference but their ambition for future success remains.
Our recently formed 2nd team has earned 3 promotion in as many years and in 2011-12, they will be competing in Trysports Div 3.
We have a thriving and vibrant junior section and our U12 squad came 2nd in the National Clubs competition in 2010-11.
Recent Club News...
2012 Training & fixtures are underway. Our 1st XI have made a good start to their new year with two victories in friendies against in Northampton and Cannock. The BLHC 2nd XI resumed their league campaign with an 8-0 win against Marlow.
