1s Beat Wimbledon 4-3 in must win match

A year after relegation Buckingham were back in the promotion playoffs having won Conference West.
After losing to Bowdon 2 weeks ago the team needed a good weekend to secure promotion.
On Saturday a closely fought win v Brooklands left the girls equal with Wimbledon on points and goal difference but behind on goals for. This meant that only a win in today's match with Wimbledon would do.
The match started quickly with an early goal from Kitty. From then on Buckingham were in control and never went behind.
In the second half a breakdown of play occurred in the Wimbledon 23 earning Crista Cullen yellow and a PC. Zoe converted for 3-2 and Kitty scored while Cullen still off. In desperation Wimbledon pulled off the keeper for 11 field players. With 52 sec left a goal from Cullen made it 4-3 at full time.
The win puts the 1XI back in Prem for 2017/18. Congratulations to players, coaches and manager.
