Six out of six for BLHC 2s

A very tightly contested first half saw Buckingham Ladies 2s held 0-0 at half-time by Amersham & Chalfont 1s. BLHC 2s increased their intensity in the second half and broke the deadlock through a high-paced attack concluding in a penetrating pass from Andrea Freshwater to see Caitlin Wales at the far post. Amersham & Chalfont rallied and held Buckingham for a short period before Buckingham seized an opportunity to attack at pace resulting in Andrea Freshwater converting a Jaz Needham pass. As the game progressed Buckingham's fitness and discipline came to the fore resulting in a period of intense pressure that saw Buckingham score 4 goals in only 10 minutes; first a short corner from Charlie Coumbe, then a tap-in by Georgie Holme, followed by a short corner deflection by Val Madojemu and finally a run from Jaz Needham chipping the on rushing A&C keeper to conclude the scoring. The 6-0 victory keeps Buckingham 2s on top of the Trysports Premier League 1.
