Buckingham Romp to 9-0 win

With the strength and ability of Buckingham Ladies 2s it was not a case of who would win, but by how many. Buckingham started very strongly and within the first 5 minutes had 3 short corners and missed a penalty flick. Three goals followed in quick succession, one from Ella Cusack and two from Fi Farley. Fi quickly completed her hat trick and Kirsty Freshwater scored to leave the visitors 5-0 up at half time.

Buckingham continued to dominate in the second half with Ella Cusack scoring in the first minute and Pheonix conceding numerous short corners. One errant deflection off a lifted ball hit captain Andrea Freshwater on the figures and resulted in her going to hospital with two broken fingers. Charlie Coubme converted the resulting short corner.

The goals continued with Jaz Needham scoring one from open play and her second as a direct strike from a short corner to bring the final score 9-0 to Buckingham
