The match started at high intensity and pace, with both sides pressing high and allowing little time on the ball. Buckingham started to dominate and after 10 minutes Tash James passed a superb ball into the path of Andrea Freshwater, who then beat the outstretched goalkeeper and take to score to 1-0.
Buckingham Continued the pressure with numerous attacks and short corners, but were unable to convert any of them, due significantly to the performance of the Wycombe keeper.
The second half started at the same pace, but with the teams quite evenly matched, and after only 7 minutes Wycombe bought the scores level. Wycombe appeared to gain some momentum but with lost this when their No10 was yellow carded for decent.
Buckingham then kept the majority of the play and started to pass the ball more freely, and coupled this good reactions from the defence when the ball was turned over preventing Wycombe from attacking on the break.
James scored two goals in two minutes from great high paced linking play. Georgie Holme (pictured) scored a superb individual goal striking high into the net from the edge of the D. James then rounded off her hat trick in 65th minute from a great team effort.
