Buckingham 2nd Xl started off well, with the first goal of the game coming from Nikki Greaves following a good passage of open play. Buckingham had saveral scoring opportunities which failed to be taken
Epsom drew level when they converted a well worked penality corner move.
Both teams continued to play some entertaining hockey but the score remained one all at half time.
Unfortunately for Buckingham they conceded two quick goals immediately after the break
Following foul play on the Epsom goal line Buckingham were awarded a penality stoke which Beth Stainsby confidently converted.
Buckingham scored their 3rd goal following good attacking play resulting in Nikki Greaves bagging her 2nd goal of the match.
The game could have gone either way with both teams playing some attractive hockey. but in the last few minutes of the game Epsom got the winning goal, Buckingham reacted positively and strove to snatch an equaliser but remained unsuccessful.

This performence was the teams best performence of the season so far and should act as a boost for future encounters.
Millie Holmes was voted most valuable player,for her non-stop efforts for the whole match.
