Buckingham 2nd Xl Away to Banbury 1sr Xl

On Sunday Buckingham 2nd Xl travelled to Banbury and were unluckly not to come away with a win, drawing the match 2 - 2
From the outset Buckingham attacked the Banbury goal but it was Banbury who scored from a breakaway goal after 12 minutes.
Captain Andrea Freshwater levelled the scores five minutes later.
Continual pressure from Buckingham forced two short corners and Freshwater scored from the second one which unfortunately was disallowed for a technical infringement. At half time the scored was 1-1
Immediately after half time Freshwater scored her second goal, but the home team levelled the score following a period of open play.
Banbury followed this score with considerable pressure on the Buckingham goal, but Buckingham's defence held firm.
Ellie Kiely & Millie Holme were voted most valuable players in this two all encounter.
