In a rearranged league match at Stowe against Brighton Buckingham made a bright start and were rewarded with a penalty flick
after only 3 minutes. Sadly this was saved by the visiting goalie. The teams enjoyed an equal share of possession but neither was able to score and the score remained 0-0 at the interval.
The first quarter of the second half was a replica of the first until Brighton broke the stalemate with a breakaway goal. Buckingham strove hard to respond, but were unable to breach the visitor's defence. A further 2 goals from the visitors left Buckingham 3-0 down at the final whistle. Mel Tuckett performed well in the Buckingham defence and was voted most valuable player.
