Buckingham struggled to get going, and with an injury to Beth Stainsby in the first few minutes of the game, and she was unable to continue. We conceded a goal after 12 minutes, from which they never recoverd. Unable to pose any real threat, Buckingham trailed by 3 goals at half time.
Buckingham pulled a goal back after 13 minutes of the second half, when Charlotte Robertson scored from a rather messy short corner. Although Buckingham's standard improved they were unable to crack the home team's well organised defence and conceded a further 2 goals to slump to a 5-1 defeat.
