Buckingham 3's V Marlow 3's

Buckingham 3's had their first home game of the season against Marlow 3's . This was again another changed team with 3 more players , Karen Wilderman , Frankie Musson and Antoinette Marchant all making their debut.
The game was a very close encounter with both teams playing positive attacking hockey. Buckingham worked hard to make chances but stout defence by Marlow foiled each attack.
The Buckingham team was well organised with Keeper Bex controlling the defence which kept a clean sheet until the final 5 minutes when Marlow managed to squeeze in a late deflected goal.
It was disappointing to lose the match but the effort and energy shown by all members of the team is really encouraging for the remaining season. Everyone gave all they could and should be proud of their achievements .
Marlow recognised that they had just had a really hard game and were lucky to come out with the win,
