Buckingham 3 v Reading 3As

The 3s continued a successful 2016 with a 3 0 win against an experiences Reading team. A strong Buckingham team took control of the first 10 minutes of the game but were frustrated by some excellent saves from the Reading keeper. An injury to Charlotte Robertson saw a reorganisation of the side which disrupted Buckingham's flow. Buckingham however took the lead with a well taken goal from Millie Wymes. In the second half Reading put the Buckingham goal under more pressure but due to a combination of good saves from Bex Ball and great defensive work from Karen Wildman and Issy Honour the Buckingham goal remained in tack. The team built on this solid defence and scored 2 more goals , a deflected goal from a short corner gave Emily Fellingham another goal this season and Nikki Greaves added to her seasons total to make the final score 3 0.
