U12B Girls - Chiltern League 13.1.19

An excellent but cold January mid-afternoon at Thame hockey club saw Buckingham U12Bs in Chiltern League action, with debut matches being played by Lola, Lily & Olivia. Ably joined by regulars Abigail, Victoria, Jermima, Niamh & Emma in goal, the girls created some lovely chances and opportunities to score but were ultimately undone by some teams who are more likely to of played together for a little while longer.

Leighton Buzzard 3 - 0 Buckingham
St Albans 1 - 0 Buckingham
Buckingham 0 -1 Thame.

Despite not managing to register a win, the girls played some superb hockey and were unlucky to not register any goals. The flow and quality of passing was exceptional, with some very good chances coming to way of Abigail from short corners. Emma also showed some quality in goal, coming off her line aggressively on more than one occasion to close down any opportunities the opposition managed to create. With the team being made up of a mixture of U12s & U10s, the future is bright for these young players.

The final Chiltern league meet of the 2018-19 season will be on Sunday 3rd March 2019. Information to follow.
