2-1 win away against Newbury & Thatcham 4s

We won 2-1 after a match when we pretty much camped out in the Newbury&Thatcham half and tussled against a packed defence. Man of the Match Saffi Needham scored our first goal after 25 minutes with a direct shot from the top of the D from a penalty corner. Liz Coulter scored our second goal 10 minutes from time after sustained pressure on the Newbury goal. Newbury scored a very late goal from a breakaway and a 1-on-1 with goalie Olivia Thomas who still managed to clear their initial shot only to be beaten by the rebound with our defence still running to get back.
