We’re delighted to invite young players and their families to our Junior Club Day on Sunday 6th September 2026, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Stowe School.

Whether your child already plays hockey, has tried it at school or has never picked up a hockey stick before, Junior Club Day is the perfect opportunity to come along, meet the club and get involved.

The morning is open to U8, U10 and U12 players of all experience levels, including complete beginners, prospective new members and our current junior players.

No experience? No problem!

One of the most important things about Junior Club Day is that everyone is welcome.

There’s no need to worry if your child hasn’t played hockey before. Our coaches and club members will be on hand throughout the morning to help them get started, introduce the basics and make sure they have plenty of fun on the pitch.

Hockey sticks can also be provided, so you don’t need to buy any equipment before coming along.

What to expect:

The morning will be relaxed, friendly and packed with activity, giving junior players the chance to enjoy hockey in a fun club environment.

There will be:

Hockey games and activities
Opportunities to meet our junior coaches and other players
Sessions suitable for beginners and experienced players
Sticks available for anyone who needs one
A chance for parents to learn more about Buckingham Hockey Club
A BBQ after the hockey

Most importantly, the event is completely FREE.

Just turn up!

There is no booking required for Junior Club Day. Simply come along on the morning and join in.
