Finalists in Enigma's Ant and Becs Tournament

The 3rds provided a strong 7 a side team for the third Enigma ant & Becs Tournament today.

The 3rds beat teams from Enigma, Stevanage, Tring and Milton Keynes to reach the semi finals.

In the semis they beat Bedford having reached sudden death in the penalty strokes. 13 year old keeper Daisy Daymond impressed by her saves at this critical phase of the match.

In the final they lost to Olney, previous winners and the team the 3rds beat last year to take the trophy. The match was 0-0 at full time despite Buckingham having all the play and constant pressure on the Olney D. The game went to golden goal and finally decided 1-2 on strokes.
