Buckingham epitomise what is possible when you get a group of talented and committed players together. A tiny club, operating on a shoe-string and with not a single player in the GB senior programme or EDP, they have established themselves over the last three seasons as one of the top four sides in the country both indoors and out. This year, in only their second season in the EH Indoor Premier Division, they deservedly claimed the Jaffa Super Sixes title at the Copper Box playing with style, spirit and sportsmanship. No neutral present that day can have failed to warm to their delight in victory. They will be worthy representatives for England Hockey in Europe next year.
