U16 Girls go undefeated....!
Girls' U16 end the season on a high, U14 girls and boys in action as well as GU12 and BU12 and the County Championships!
The U16 girls ended their league campaign with a hard fought win away to Staines HC today. Conceding plenty of possession and territory, the girls got their tactics spot on as they held out for a 1-0 win to go undefeated and win South Central Tier 2 North! Phoebe Hughes scored the only goal of the game, pouncing on a rebound at a penalty corner.
Buckingham only conceded one penalty corner all game and defended very well through Alice Crack, Ella Kingston and Orla Massie. Charlotte Hemstock and Lottie Rose covered huge amounts of ground in midfield and as always, Mae White was a rock between the sticks.

The U14 boys remain undefeated at home this season after edging Banbury in a goal fest at Stowe. With both teams unable to field a regular GK, they played purely outfield players in a game that produced 11 goal! Buckingham won the match 6-5. Thank you very much to Jack Boyden for umpiring.
The U14 girls travelled to Oxford Hawks with a light squad but still managed an 11 a side match as Hawks lent BHC some players. It was a great game with Hawks coming out on top, winning 3-1. Thank you to Nigel for managing the side. The GU14 play their final match of the season next week against Oxford HC. 12.30 start at Stowe School - any support would be appreciated.
The U12 boys played in the county championships at Amersham today. After a tough first match against eventual winners, Marlow, the boys were edged out 1-0 against Amersham in the second group game. This meant to boys played in the Vase (5th/6th play off) and got the better of Wycombe, winning 2-0. Thank you to Stuart for taking the team!
The U12 girls wrapped up and action packed day for the juniors travelling to Marlow to compete in their County Cup. The girls lost 3-1 to Amersham before winning 4-0 against Marlow B. This was enough to qualify through to the main cup competition. The girls took on Marlow A team who defeated Buckingham 1-0. In the third placed play off, the girls beat Milton Keynes 2-0 to finish 3rd in Buckinghamshire. Thank you to all the volunteers involved with the team.
While there were plenty of fixtures today, the astros at Stowe were still full of minis as Jo, Mo, Greg and Vikki led the U8, U10 and U12s in a fantastic training session!
