BHC Ladies 2s enjoyed a hard earned 2-1 victory against a strong West Hampstead first team. Despite a slow start for the home side where the opposition managed to put a lot of pressure on the Buckingham defence, they were not able to capitalise and get any clear cut shots on goal. Buckingham then settled into the game and gained a lot more possession with some great passing moves through the midfield. One of those passing moves started with Buckingham Player of the Match Fay Burn who executed a great long ball to set up Stowe pupil, Holly Churchill for Buckingham’s first goal. In the second half Buckingham continued to pose a threat and were denied a number of times by the West Hampstead keeper until Katie Mack got on the end of another great pass from Burn to deflect into the visitors goal. Buckingham's concentration levels dropped slightly which allowed West Hampstead back into the game with a late goal, but Buckingham regained their composure and held on for the win.
