Hard fought game

Our first match in the Regional Finals of the EHB U16 Championship was against Belper.
They were a highly organised team and what followed was a fast paced exciting game of hockey. They scored first after 10 minutes but our girls quickly drew level with a goal from Emily Protheroe.
This was followed in the second half by a stunning gaol from Georgie Davis following a short corner. We were playing well but sadly lost concentration for a second which Belper made the most of and scored again to draw 2/2.
Despite a valiant effort, Belper went on to score another 2 goals but our girls performance was overall extremely positive and they gave the eventual winners a real scare and a run for their money!
