Leicester vs U16

The girls all played well on Sunday but sadly let in 4 goals in the first 5 minutes before stepping up to the task!
Leicester played exceptionally well and are obviously a very organised team, but once our girls recovered their composure at the early goals they played with determination and commitment, never letting their heads go down.
They managed 3 goals (from Olivia C and Nikki G, one of which was a penalty) and were stretched in the fast paced game. However this is what we need to improve individually and as a team.
Thank you to all those that changed plans/work commitments so they could be with us and to the parents who delivered their children and supported us.
As always a thank you to Liz for her words of wisdom and keeping the girls fighting and Mike for umpiring.
We can chalk it up as an excellent learning opportunity and realise that we can score against the stronger teams!
