U16's win last match of season in style

The U16 team played with good passing skills and determination showing how well they have all improved this season.
The goals were all a team effort with Lauren R scoring in the the first 3 minutes after some lovely passing between Alice R and Frankie M midfield and into the D.
3 minutes later Frankie scored herself from a short corner.
Lauren went on to score a hat trick and her second goal was after some excellent support from Alice who ran and ran!
Nikki G scored at 23 minutes and then Alice managed to score herself from a short corner.
In the second half Frankie also managed a second and Karen passed a shot across goal that was deflected by a Tring player into the goal!
The defence were also stretched and Daisy made several saves at goal but two managed to beat her and the defence players!
Players player was Emily England and Coaches player Katie McKenna. Both girls showed committed play.
Tring put up a valiant effort but had struggled to make a team and were playing with several younger players. A big thank you to them for coming to play and managing to field a team at all.
Thank you as ever to Margaret and Pete for umpiring and Liz for being the match day coach.
Overall it was an excellent end to a season and it was lovely to see how well the girls have improved.
Best of luck next year to those staying in the junior division and to those who will be playing at a senior level.
Finally, many thanks to all the parents/carers who ferry the children to training and matches, without that this the club couldn't function.
