Bucks climbed to 3rd in the league with a dominating performance. With chat in the week mainly being about why we were wearing black kit for an away game it fell to self proclaimed fashion model Sam Forman to arrive with white kit and baby blue crocs, his blushes were saved when Beesley Snr once again arrived without the DOTD outfit. Once we ventured out into the cold for a long trek to the pitch Skipper Harding had left the balls, masks and first aid kit in his car so had an extra warm up.
Once the game began Bucks were dominant from the start playing the majority of the opening minutes inside the opposition 23. The high flowing press worked as Old man Beesley picked the defenders pocket and slotted home from close range. The lead was soon doubled from a PC as once again Angry man Beesley picked up the rebound and flicked hard into the goal. The hat-trick was complete a few minutes later as Birthday boy Beesley rounded the keeper and slotted home. 3-0 at HT and Bucks knew there more goals to come but needed to be more ruthless in the attacking 23. Several PC's followed and eventually Younger Beesley (Ollie) slotted home from 6 inches. Berks managed to grab a goal back in a rare visit to the D, more on that later, its a Beesley thing. Ollie then turned provider to set up Sam F to fire home with a rocket past the keeper. Bucks finished up with another PC routine that saw Veteran Beesley flick home through the keepers legs. Special mentions to Beesley Junior for managing to hit the ball into his own leg, injure himself and set up the berks forward to score and then try to blame the skipper at post match teas. MOTM went to Jeff for a faultless display at the back and providing an attacking outlet when possible. Also mentions to Sam W for slotting into RB and giving a very good account of himself in the 2s. DOTD went to Ron Beesley (Ollie) who only managed to brave the cold in tights and then throwing an aerial that i'm still not convinced left the ground and falling over in the process. Next week bucks face top of the table Thame at 10am, all support most welcome.
