Bucks bowed out of tier 1 after a tough game against MK. Georgie put in an early shout for DOTD by forgetting her kit, luckily Nik Miller was on hand to lend one. Ironic considering he forgot his last week. Bucks started well, moving the ball and making plenty of circle penetrations and subsequent PC’s. Bucks looked dangerous as Deb’s came close and Jack Boyden had one saved off the line to keep the scores level. MK opened the scoring with a quick break and ball across the D for a simple tap in. They doubled the lead just before half time after a save from Matthew Longman in goal luckily fell straight to the MK forward. The second half was much the same with bucks dominating play but unable to find the back of the net, another PC saved on the line after a thunderous strike from Georgie and then Christmas came early for DOTD Jack Boyden as he intercepted at the top of the D, lined up with a huge swing and watched the ball travel an inch or so (editors note from the back it didn’t look like the ball moved at all). MK looked dangerous on the break but Katie and POTM Leanne kept the forwards at bay. Strong carries from Ari and Josh kept the pressure on but bucks just couldn’t beat the impressive MK keeper. MK managed a couple more goals but we can gloss over that. Many thanks to Nik Miller for umpiring in the miserable weather. Onto the first round of the plate on the 10th December, opposition and venue TBC
